We are committed to providing our customers with a comprehensive and effective solution for safety training that helps to keep their employees safe and reduce the risk of accidents and injuries on the job.
The Safety Sherpa is a company that was founded with a mission to make safety training more accessible and effective for small, medium, and large businesses. Our team is made up of experts in the field of safety and technology, including our co-founder and CEO Wally Steidley, who has over 25 years of experience in safety compliance and management, our co-founder and CRO Mike McCalley, who brings a wealth of experience in B2B hyper growth, SaaS, and App development and our co-founder and CTO Caleb Steidley, who is an expert in technology solutions and mobile application development.

Wally saw a growing need for a more efficient and cost-effective solution for safety training in small and medium businesses. As the founder of Indigo Compliance, he has helped many companies with their safety training needs, but he saw that there was still a gap in the market for a comprehensive, easy-to-use solution that could be accessed on mobile devices. With his knowledge of safety regulations and his passion for technology, he co-founded The Safety Sherpa to fill that gap.
Mike McCalley
Chief Revenue Officer
Mike McCalley brings his expertise in B2B hyper growth for tech, SaaS, and mobile app development, he has been responsible for the development of multiple market disrupting new-to-the-world products and has a deep understanding of how to create user-friendly and efficient mobile experiences. His skills and experience have been instrumental in the development and launch of The Safety Sherpa app.
